For every two Goan there are three clubs, goes a popular saying which many a Goans are familiar. But one club dominating the scene is not a good thing. Monopoly is a bad thing not only in business sector but in social, cultural and sporting front, which a large number of Goans in Qatar will nod in agreement. On Friday November 19, Qatar played host to Goa Day organized by Doha Goans Sports Club, the Goa Day, a concept coined and developed by London-based Rene Baretto. It was the second time Goans had a chance e to witness a show called Goa Day this year. Earlier, Goan Welfare Association (GWA) had organized a Goa Day.
