  Goan cricketer Ambey represented UAE, for  upcoming MASTERs World Cup in 2023 to be held in South Africa UAE finshed fourth in the eight-nation tournament which included an Indian team Doha Qatar: There is no stopping for Goa’s former Ranji trophy Ambey Parwatkar who continues to excel on the cricket field this time at the 7 nations Caribbean Mini World Cup Masters tournament played at Barbados. Representing UAE, at age 50 Ambey is part of the team which has made the semi-finals of the tournament which will take place on November 9 against the United States of America which was washed off and UAE had to finish fourth with USA qualifying for the final based on their group stage performance. In the other semis West Indies (Barbados) vs England match was also washed off due to rain. Of the other teams taking part, favorites India, West indies (Trinidad) failed to make the knockouts. They will play for the plate positions along with Canada and Wales. Ambey has been playing

      Doha, Qatar: Forca Mumbai (Senegal) won the 5-Aside Goan World Cup 2022 organised by Goan Boyz Qatar which was held recently at Al Jazeera school Ground Abu Hamour. In the final Forca Mumbai defeated Ghana FC Bombay 3-2 in the penalty shootout. At the end of the normal period of play the teams were locked goalless. In the tiebreaker, Senegal goalkeeper Craig D’Souza came up with a brilliant save to clinch the winner’s trophy for his team. Craig (Senegal GK) was also awarded the Golden Gloves. Golden Boot was jointly awarded to Shaher and Naheel (Ghana). Runners trophy and medals were presented to Ghana and the winner's trophy and medal and cash prize was awarded to the winners (Senegal) team. Six teams took part in the event namely: Senegal Forca Mumbai, Spain FC, Croatia De Calangute, Ghana FC Bombay, Argentina Weekend warriors and Brazil St Sabastian. In the tie-breaker for couples, the husband and wife combination of Jaselbek and Lui Fernandes   got the b
